My stepmom gave me chocolates for Valentine’s Day. So did my best friend’s ex-girlfriend and mom.

My friend Seamus even bought me lunch for Valentine’s Day (although his was more of a service of kindness since I asked and then told him I’d pay him back next week).

All is adequate at the Markham homestead today.
